Central San Diego neighborhood Logan Heights, CA was named after 1871 Congressman John A. Logan. The area – originally called East End- was renamed Logan Heights in 1905.


Logan Heights is one of San Diego’s oldest communities. The neighborhood to the South of the Interstate is called Barrio Logan, which is Spanish for neighborhood.
