North Park, CA (previously called “Hartley’s North Park”) is one of San Diego’s oldest neighborhoods.
Many of North Park’s population (about 32,655 people) live in craftsman-style bungalows from the 1920s.
Compared to other areas of San Diego county, North Park is a highly walkable community. The busiest bus line in the San Diego metro region (the University Avenue transit), also goes through North Park.

Visit the weekly North Park Farmers Market for a wide array of gourmet foods. You can even make your own terrarium at Pigment, a unique North Park shop that also has a selfie station.
Art is one of the pillars of North Park, which has the largest and longest running art walk in San Diego’s history. “North Park Music Thing” is a large music festival that takes place in the fall.
